Last month, I was on I-81 from TN to PA. It was a beautiful ride through the Appalachian Mountains. I was actually in an car (I know...YUCK!) but have been assured by fellow riders who have biked on I-81 that it IS a magnificent ride.

Back in 1985, I rode from Plattsburgh, NY, in the Adorondack Mountains to Miami, Fl. It was a part of my DOS from Military life. I made the trip on my Yamaha 650 Maxum. It was a great ride filled with both coastal, City and mountainous roadways. The trip took 2.5 days. Loved every minute of it.
