1st Annual New Haven Fire Rescue’s LIFE RIDE to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Saturday, Aug 8th. Begin the morning at 10:00 AM at the New Haven Fire Department with registration , a continental breakfast and tours of the department. The ride will depart at 12:00 noon, rain or shine, and tours approximately two hours of Northern Macomb County. We will end at Haven Ridge Park with lunch and live entertainment. - 8th annual motorcycle charity ride that starts and ends at Jack’s Custom Cycles in Lexington, South Carolina. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia has 300 bikers who ride 70 miles around Lake Murray to 4 local restaurants. The stops include: Vella’s in Chapin, River Winds Landing in Prosperity, Spinner’s Resort in Leesville, Boondocks in Gilbert and the ride will end at Jack’s Custom Cycles in Lexington with the last bike returning at 3 p.m. Bikers will enjoy a BBQ lunch by Blue Marlin Signature Catering, beverages and live entertainment from the IRON HORSE BAND. Each rider will have the chance to win a Harley Davidson, among a variety of other prizes. The cost is $25 per rider and $15 per passenger. June 25-27, 2010: Join us as we ride to raise money for Flying Horse Farms, a camp for children with serious illnesses. This police-escorted ride will start in downtown Columbus and end in Greensboro, North Carolina.
